$100,000 winner!!

So I guess I won a $100,000 and I have to give half to a charity of my choice. I am pretty pumped to say the least. It's not everyday you win $100,000. Now comes the difficult part, choosing the charity. There are so many good charities out there it is hard to choose. I might have to choose the ASPCA charity. That is the one that deals with the Animal Shelters. I love animals, and I would love to give back to them. Its a really great charity and I would be proud to give $50,000 to them.
Now with the other $50,000. How would I spend that. That is a lot of moolah. So much, that I might have to put half away in the bank to save for college or something. Now the other 25 grand. Of course, I am probably going to buy something. Well, that something might have to be a car. Well, I would probably buy a 1992 Nissan 240 sx. Why would I buy a 17 year old car? Well, I well tell you. I would like to get into drifting and a 240 sx is a good car to start. They have a lot of parts and they are reliable cars. Thats what I would do if I won $100,000.

What grinds my gears.

What really gets under my skin, well a lot of things annoys me. Well first, people who chew really really loud. It is just annoying and it actually makes not wanna chew gum any more. Also, people who act fake. That just really stupid. Why would you act fake just to get friends. Why not just be yourself. Its idiotic I think because nobody would want to be your friend if your not true to yourself.
People who talk really loud also annoys me. I don't want to hear your conversation across the room. Also, people who wear their blue tooth everywhere even at school. It makes them think that they are important even though they aren't. I really get annoyed by a lot of things and I just explained a few to you. I have a bunch more, but I really don't feel like listing all of them.

My Blazon.

In art class we had to make our own coat of arms. Its kind of a fun assignment to do. Its fun because we get to be creative and make our own things to make it look cool. What's cool about this is that all of the objects on the coat of arms means something.
My blazon is as follows: My shield is gold and green which means hope and joy, with generosity. I have an hand on it which means that I have a pledge of faith. I also have a helmet which means I have wisdom and strength. My last thing I have on my coat of arms is an arrow which means readiness for anything.
My coat of arms is pretty close to my own family crest. It has green and gold, with all of the objects I listed above are on it. I tried to make it close to the original because I really like the original.

Letter to Soldier

Dear Soldiers,
How is it going over seas. Here in your home country things have been looking up. The economy has improved in the past months. I hope things over there have been going good. Though any type of war is never a good thing to experience. I don't know how you guys can live through a war. I hope that your Thanksgiving was good. I also hope the rest of the Holiday season is a very good one.
Besides the economy actually somewhat getting better. Nothing has really changed. Its been pretty normal over here in America. I really don't know what else to say besides that you guys are cool for protecting us Americans. I know you don't like sappy letters saying that "you are my hero" and stuff. So I plan on not doing that. So I hope you guys are safe through the Holiday season.

Gratitude!

Its that time of year were everybody reflects on what they are thankful for everything in your life. Its kind of hard to think back on your life and say everything that you our thankful for. I know everybody is going to say their family and friends, but that is so original. So I am going to talk about things a little bit out of the ordinary of gratefulness.
Well to start of I am thankful that my car is actually working again and not crapping out on me on 34th street. That sucked way to much. I am so happy that it works fine and there are no problems with it. I am also grateful that I now know what I am going to do in life. I plan to be a radiologist and I plan to go to The STATE COLLEGE OF FLORIDA and be part of the fighting manatees. It took me four years to finally think of where I am going to college and what is going to be my major. I am a very indecisive person so it was difficult to choose what I want to do in life.
Finally, I am grateful for just living my life everyday to the fullest. It is such a good feeling knowing that since you are 18 you are a legal adult. I am so pumped about that. Well those are things that I am grateful for. Pretty specific, I guess.

my hero.

My hero is a special kind of hero. My hero is a crime stopping Kong fu fighting dog. His name Hong Kong Phooey. He is the number one super guy. Even though is a dog. Some people think that a person needs to be a persons hero. Nope, I think any thing could be some bodies hero. Mine happens to be a dog. The thing that makes him my hero is the fact that he can change in a file cabinet and drives a cool car to stop crime. He uses The Hong Kong Book Of Kong Fu to help aid him. He also has an alter ego which he calls himself Penry, who works as a janitor. That seems so cool that a janitor can also be a crime stopping dog. Also, he's not a very good super hero who always fails to save the city. His sidekick cat, spot is the one who saves the city even though Phooey gets all the credit. Which is awesome, what super hero doesn't have to do anything and still get credit for saving the city. I think Hong Kong Phooey is greatest super hero and he's also my hero because he gets all the credit for actually failing on saving the city.

i movie

I finished my first i-movie project and I thought it was pretty easy. We had to do it on a famous artist and do ten pictures with ten facts. I did Salvador Dali, it was easy to find pictures of his famous paintings and facts about his life. I thought i-movie was easy to use, it was pretty straight forward. I learned a lot though, because I am not that familiar with Macs but since we are using Macs I get hands on experience with them. I like using i-movie, it is a fun software to use and really basic. Basic is not always a bad thing though.
I-movie is pretty much drag and drop and then just add text, then your done. You can add music if you want. Or you can add themes, but basically you drag a picture, then add text, and then your done. I think it is one of the easiest software that is on a Mac. Others, like garage band is a little harder to use. But with time all of the programs get easier. You just have to practice and experiment with them.
I learned that Macs aren't as bad as I thought they would be. But, I still wouldn't buy one, they are too expensive. But I liked this project it was easy and I am good with computers so it came natural to me.

The Economy

Thanks to our past president Mr. George W. Bush our economy has been in the hole. When the economy was decent me and my family used to go on family vacations and go out to dinner. Now we don't do anything like that. Also, when the economy was up gas prices were down and I actually could fill up my tank with out feeling like all my hard work and earning money is just going into my car's gas tank. I used to go out a lot with my friends now I just sit at home and do nothing because it is so expensive to do anything these days.
The economy has really effected everybody, especially the high school seniors who have to pay their seniors fees and stuff. Senior fees this year are very expensive. Like $90 for the main senior fees, then prom is like $55. You can't forget about grad nite is like $110. So it is really hard for the students to pay them were they don't have a job or their parents can't pay them because they can't afford it.
The economy is really bad and hopefully it gets better soon so I can buy stuff and not go into debt.

Who is the most evil character in Macbeth?

When I think about this question only one character comes to mind: Lady Macbeth.
Some people say that Macbeth is the evil character because he kills everybody and shows no remorse. But actually Lady Macbeth is the most evil because she wants Macbeth to kill King Duncan in the beginning. Macbeth tries not to commit the deed but ultimately does it anyway because Lady Macbeth calls him a coward and not a true man. She is the type of character who is evil in the her words and not in her actions. But people are going to say that she is the most evil because after the death of King Duncan she kind of lays low and sees what happens to Macbeth as he his killing all of his best friends because he is scared that they know to much even though they don't. I actually think that is evil to let your husband freak out and go pretty much on a killing spree. Also, when it comes to when Macbeth sees Banquo's ghost at the party, she starts yelling at him and making him look stupid when he is freaking out. She does nothing to support him even when he gets to deep to stop. She just sits on the side lines and watches everything unfold and make Macbeth's life a living hell.
That is why Lady Macbeth is the most evil character in Macbeth. She does thing in a psychological way that makes Macbeth's life go for the worst. All because of her, Macbeth kills King Duncan and then to try to cover everything up kills Banquo because he thinks Banquo knows to much and he wants only to be king. Also, she does nothing to try to help Macbeth after he kills these people.

Who is Macbeth most like in the real world?

The answer to this question very difficult to come up with. So, after thinking for a while and trying to describe Macbeth the best I can, I came up with...NO BODY. Nobody can compare to Macbeth because Macbeth is so very unique that no body can compare to him in any way. Macbeth is a character in which you think that he could be a good guy but turns out to be the bad guy.
Nobody is so greedy for power that he will kill his own best friend just to become King. Just to have to the power that he already had because he most likely going to be king any way in a few years but he was inpatient and killed King Duncan. He didn't want to but his wife made him because she wanted his power. Greed is the main factor in describing Macbeth, and nobody has that much greed.

Whats up with Vampire Movies.

Vampire movies are the new fav in Hollywood these days. It all started with the block buster Twilight and went down hill from there. Vampire movies have always been in movies starting back in the 1920's with Dracula. There have been countless remakes of Dracula from countless directors from Bram Stocker to others who I don't know.
Over the years Vampire movies have taken the Dracula figure and transformed them to be from scary and majestic to the new teen heart throb. The new vampire movies have ruined the key features of what vampires are remembered on. The fact that they can't come out during the day time. Movies have vampires walking during the day time just with a shirt on. That is not vampires do. They also have vampire shining during the day time, which is just stupid. Why would a vampire shine in the sun. They also, have been ruined when it comes to killing their victims. In Twilight the good vampires don't eat humans and the also interact with other humans. Which is total bugus.
Overall, vampires movies have been ruined going into the 21st century. That is way I would never watch a new vampire movie ever again.

Halloween!

Halloween is fast approaching and I am getting pumped for it. Halloween is my favorite holiday it even surpasses Christmas. Halloween is a time were it is ok to dress up in what ever you want and get candy. But what I really like about Halloween is scaring the little kids when walk up to my door.
I don't know why I like scaring the kids but I just think it is fun and I like doing it. I also enjoying decorating my front yard cause I can show my creative side and to try to make it the most scariest on my block. It is challenge every year because my neighbors always try to out do my house.
The last reason I love Halloween so much is that my birthday is the day before Halloween. That means I can get presents the day before and then I can get my candy the next day. Halloween is a family affair when it comes to my family. We do all of the decorations together and turns out to be really fun.

Getting a D school grade.

For the past three years Bayshore High school has received a D grade for the school. I personally think that represents are school to the "T". The students are not motivated to do any work and it shows in the grade. Test scores are the big reason why we get such a low grade every year. The students think that the FCAT doesn't matter so they just blow it off and continue to do nothing each and every year.
But there are things that our faculty can do to try to motivate the students to do well on the big tests that count for our school grade. The first thing they can do is, the class that does the gets the overall best scores on the test can get some sort of reward, maybe like a pizza party or ice cream party.
Also, teachers can try not to push the tests so much that the students just want to fail it on purpose. I think teachers scare the students in to passing these tests. That in my mind is not the way to teach it. Just try to motivate them into doing good, not overwhelm them.
I think that with a little motivation from our students and less intimidation from our teachers we can raise that D score to a C or B in just a few years.

Looking back on LOTF!

Looking back on my LOTF project I thought my group did a good job. Though we did have some arguments about what do to the project on. We decided to do a puppet show which was really an awesome project. We were the only group to do a puppet show and hopefully when we present it to the class we do a good job and not make fools of ourselves.
Over all, the project came together nicely, the background and characters were done very well and the script was good too. But if we had to do this puppet show differently I probably would have made bigger characters and background. They were just a tid-bit too small.
I learned doing this project that picking your group members is very key in making an epic project. Also, agreeing on what to do is key as well. I think we are prepared to do very well doing our presentation and hopefully we get a very good grade for our hard work and determination on this LOTF project.

What if..?

What if I was never born with a cleft palette, things would be so much different in my life that I couldn't ponder what it would turn out like. Most people go through life not knowing what a cleft palette is. Well today is your lucky day, a cleft palate is a type of are birth defects that affect the upper lip and the roof of the mouth.
It is kind of kind of common in children, mostly in 3rd world countries. Some kids go through life not being able to fix the cleft and palate. I was not one of those kids.
My first surgery to fix the defect was when I was seven weeks old. And around thirteen surgeries later it is all fixed. But what if I never had all those surgeries, well life would ultimately be easier. I would not go through life answering the same question, What happened to your lip? After answering this question for so long I just started to lie about what happened.
All in all, my life would turn out so different that I probably wouldn't like it. I love that I was born a different child. A lot of things in my life that turned out good happened because of my surgeries. I was even a poster child for All Children's Hospital in 1994 which is totally awesome.

Obstacles!!

Senior year is a very challenging year that everyone has to go through. For me, personally senior year means; getting my ACT and SAT done and over with, applying to the college of my choice, and just graduating in general.
You may be thinking that those things are easy to do, but they're not. ACT and SAT are very important tests and they take time out of my busy life to study and plan for. Also, I am going have to take these tests more than once to improve my scores. If that is the case than I will have to study and plan more.
The second thing I have to do is to apply to college. This also, is quite time consuming and difficult. You have to have everything ready, your test scores, high school transcripts, and anything else that your college needs for you to apply. I plan on taking all my tests and getting everything completed before I apply so when that time comes I will be ready.
The final thing is just graduating. I think this is the easiest of the three because I am a excellent student. I get good grades so that when graduation time comes I have all my credits to graduate and I will not feel rushed or anything. Well, those are the obstacles that hopefully I will overcome and be able to let my senior year be the best it can be..

Hey freshman listen up!

Hey if you are reading this then that means that you are, in fact, a freshman.
I remember my freshman year like it was four years ago, wait it was. There are things that I did that I totally agree on doing, and some things that I totally regret doing. First off, freshman year is a very important time in every body's lives. Things to do in your freshman year that will make it an exciting and fun time are as follows; try to get good grades so in the future you don't have to take the class over in your senior year. Also, try to get involved in your school. Getting involved in your school is an easy way to make new friends and get to know your school. I did this, when I was a freshman I decided to join the marching band and that was a very fun experience. I also, got good grades so in my senior year I can take very easy classes so I can enjoy my last year in high school.
Now we get to the hardest thing to try to do in high school, not getting in trouble. High school is very different then middle school and the rules are also very different. Try to get used to the new rules before you try to impress your friends by throwing paper balls at the teacher and start laughing so the teacher automatically knows that you did it. Since you are now in high school try to act mature, you are almost an adult. So in short, try to get good grades, get involved, and try to act some what mature. If you do all this your freshman year won't turn out so bad.

Senior Year!!!!!

Yes, it's finally senior year, and I am totally pumped. This is my year, and there are a few things that I really want to accomplish before June 4, 2010 comes a knocking. Really the first thing I want to accomplish is getting a least a 3.7 g.p.a unweighted. That is going to be very difficult to do for me because some of my classes are quite difficult and I am lazy.
I am also looking forward to walking across that stage and getting that little piece of paper that means absolutely means nothing because it says "smile and shake peoples hands, blah blah blah". But still it will feel so good to finally, after twelve years of formal education, to be done with school, crappy teachers, and ridiculous rules that are so stupid that they are pointless to even try to break.
I'm trying to avoid getting in trouble at home and in school. Also, trying not to gave in to peer pressure is also a big thing to avoid doing. My goals are as follows 1. getting good grades 2. not getting in trouble. 3. hanging out with friends more 4. meeting new friends. Those are just four of the many goals I have this year. As I said before that this is going to be my year, and nobody can change that. Hopefully, if my list doesn't change it should be a very fun and challenging year. I really didn't want a challenging year. But as usual I had to pick difficult classes. Darn me, and my ability to strive for my best.
