Whats up with Vampire Movies.

Vampire movies are the new fav in Hollywood these days. It all started with the block buster Twilight and went down hill from there. Vampire movies have always been in movies starting back in the 1920's with Dracula. There have been countless remakes of Dracula from countless directors from Bram Stocker to others who I don't know.
Over the years Vampire movies have taken the Dracula figure and transformed them to be from scary and majestic to the new teen heart throb. The new vampire movies have ruined the key features of what vampires are remembered on. The fact that they can't come out during the day time. Movies have vampires walking during the day time just with a shirt on. That is not vampires do. They also have vampire shining during the day time, which is just stupid. Why would a vampire shine in the sun. They also, have been ruined when it comes to killing their victims. In Twilight the good vampires don't eat humans and the also interact with other humans. Which is total bugus.
Overall, vampires movies have been ruined going into the 21st century. That is way I would never watch a new vampire movie ever again.

Halloween!

Halloween is fast approaching and I am getting pumped for it. Halloween is my favorite holiday it even surpasses Christmas. Halloween is a time were it is ok to dress up in what ever you want and get candy. But what I really like about Halloween is scaring the little kids when walk up to my door.
I don't know why I like scaring the kids but I just think it is fun and I like doing it. I also enjoying decorating my front yard cause I can show my creative side and to try to make it the most scariest on my block. It is challenge every year because my neighbors always try to out do my house.
The last reason I love Halloween so much is that my birthday is the day before Halloween. That means I can get presents the day before and then I can get my candy the next day. Halloween is a family affair when it comes to my family. We do all of the decorations together and turns out to be really fun.

Getting a D school grade.

For the past three years Bayshore High school has received a D grade for the school. I personally think that represents are school to the "T". The students are not motivated to do any work and it shows in the grade. Test scores are the big reason why we get such a low grade every year. The students think that the FCAT doesn't matter so they just blow it off and continue to do nothing each and every year.
But there are things that our faculty can do to try to motivate the students to do well on the big tests that count for our school grade. The first thing they can do is, the class that does the gets the overall best scores on the test can get some sort of reward, maybe like a pizza party or ice cream party.
Also, teachers can try not to push the tests so much that the students just want to fail it on purpose. I think teachers scare the students in to passing these tests. That in my mind is not the way to teach it. Just try to motivate them into doing good, not overwhelm them.
I think that with a little motivation from our students and less intimidation from our teachers we can raise that D score to a C or B in just a few years.

Looking back on LOTF!

Looking back on my LOTF project I thought my group did a good job. Though we did have some arguments about what do to the project on. We decided to do a puppet show which was really an awesome project. We were the only group to do a puppet show and hopefully when we present it to the class we do a good job and not make fools of ourselves.
Over all, the project came together nicely, the background and characters were done very well and the script was good too. But if we had to do this puppet show differently I probably would have made bigger characters and background. They were just a tid-bit too small.
I learned doing this project that picking your group members is very key in making an epic project. Also, agreeing on what to do is key as well. I think we are prepared to do very well doing our presentation and hopefully we get a very good grade for our hard work and determination on this LOTF project.

What if..?

What if I was never born with a cleft palette, things would be so much different in my life that I couldn't ponder what it would turn out like. Most people go through life not knowing what a cleft palette is. Well today is your lucky day, a cleft palate is a type of are birth defects that affect the upper lip and the roof of the mouth.
It is kind of kind of common in children, mostly in 3rd world countries. Some kids go through life not being able to fix the cleft and palate. I was not one of those kids.
My first surgery to fix the defect was when I was seven weeks old. And around thirteen surgeries later it is all fixed. But what if I never had all those surgeries, well life would ultimately be easier. I would not go through life answering the same question, What happened to your lip? After answering this question for so long I just started to lie about what happened.
All in all, my life would turn out so different that I probably wouldn't like it. I love that I was born a different child. A lot of things in my life that turned out good happened because of my surgeries. I was even a poster child for All Children's Hospital in 1994 which is totally awesome.

Obstacles!!

Senior year is a very challenging year that everyone has to go through. For me, personally senior year means; getting my ACT and SAT done and over with, applying to the college of my choice, and just graduating in general.
You may be thinking that those things are easy to do, but they're not. ACT and SAT are very important tests and they take time out of my busy life to study and plan for. Also, I am going have to take these tests more than once to improve my scores. If that is the case than I will have to study and plan more.
The second thing I have to do is to apply to college. This also, is quite time consuming and difficult. You have to have everything ready, your test scores, high school transcripts, and anything else that your college needs for you to apply. I plan on taking all my tests and getting everything completed before I apply so when that time comes I will be ready.
The final thing is just graduating. I think this is the easiest of the three because I am a excellent student. I get good grades so that when graduation time comes I have all my credits to graduate and I will not feel rushed or anything. Well, those are the obstacles that hopefully I will overcome and be able to let my senior year be the best it can be..

Hey freshman listen up!

Hey if you are reading this then that means that you are, in fact, a freshman.
I remember my freshman year like it was four years ago, wait it was. There are things that I did that I totally agree on doing, and some things that I totally regret doing. First off, freshman year is a very important time in every body's lives. Things to do in your freshman year that will make it an exciting and fun time are as follows; try to get good grades so in the future you don't have to take the class over in your senior year. Also, try to get involved in your school. Getting involved in your school is an easy way to make new friends and get to know your school. I did this, when I was a freshman I decided to join the marching band and that was a very fun experience. I also, got good grades so in my senior year I can take very easy classes so I can enjoy my last year in high school.
Now we get to the hardest thing to try to do in high school, not getting in trouble. High school is very different then middle school and the rules are also very different. Try to get used to the new rules before you try to impress your friends by throwing paper balls at the teacher and start laughing so the teacher automatically knows that you did it. Since you are now in high school try to act mature, you are almost an adult. So in short, try to get good grades, get involved, and try to act some what mature. If you do all this your freshman year won't turn out so bad.

Senior Year!!!!!

Yes, it's finally senior year, and I am totally pumped. This is my year, and there are a few things that I really want to accomplish before June 4, 2010 comes a knocking. Really the first thing I want to accomplish is getting a least a 3.7 g.p.a unweighted. That is going to be very difficult to do for me because some of my classes are quite difficult and I am lazy.
I am also looking forward to walking across that stage and getting that little piece of paper that means absolutely means nothing because it says "smile and shake peoples hands, blah blah blah". But still it will feel so good to finally, after twelve years of formal education, to be done with school, crappy teachers, and ridiculous rules that are so stupid that they are pointless to even try to break.
I'm trying to avoid getting in trouble at home and in school. Also, trying not to gave in to peer pressure is also a big thing to avoid doing. My goals are as follows 1. getting good grades 2. not getting in trouble. 3. hanging out with friends more 4. meeting new friends. Those are just four of the many goals I have this year. As I said before that this is going to be my year, and nobody can change that. Hopefully, if my list doesn't change it should be a very fun and challenging year. I really didn't want a challenging year. But as usual I had to pick difficult classes. Darn me, and my ability to strive for my best.
