Life of Pi....

After I finished Life of Pi, which was a good book by the way, I learned one very important lesson, never have a huge tiger in a life boat. Things never turn out good when you are occupied by tiger. This means that 75% of the life boat is occupied by the tiger. You are also freaking out because you don't of the tiger is going to attack you at any moment.
If I was in that situation I don't know what I would do. Kill the tiger and use him as bait, or let him kill you. This is a lesson that hopefully nobody goes through. Well this is what I learned while reading Life of Pi.

Contrasts

The two videos that we watched, one about texting while driving, and the other one about wearing seat belts. I thought both videos were done very well but the video about texting while driving was a more gruesome approach to showing what could happen if you text while driving. The video about the seat belts was done in a none gruesome way which was good, but it didn't have the same effect.
The second video was a little boring for me, it didn't get the point across I think in a good way. It didn't show the after math of if you got in a crash without a seat belt. I actually prefer the first video over the second just by the fact that you saw the whole thing of what could and would happen if you texted while driving. Well thats just my opinion.

Day in the life of Tiger.

It was a Saturday, not like any other Saturday though, this Saturday was special. This is the story of the Woods' family picknet. They were a happy family, with a pro golfer as the father. He was a man thats was the perfect image of the true American. He lived by his virtues of honesty, love, and compassion. This man was absoluetly perfect at his job and won every single match he ever played in. He had a beautiful wife, and two cool kids. They were very close and decided it was a great day for a family picknet. It was slightly breezy , 85 degrees and sunny with not a cloud in sight. They headed for the beach with their picknick suplies and ready to eat.every single But what they didn't know was that every single person in the city was headed for the beach too. Families from all over the world were going there to enjoy a family picknick. Tiger thought it would be a day where he could enjoy the beach in privacy with his family.
At first, they couldn't find a single parking spot, they had to park in a handicap spot , 2 miles away in a deserted gas station. When they got to the beach they couldn't find a big enough spot to eat there lunch, so they sat underneath the lifeguard tower. At least they were in shade, but it was so cramped that everybody bumped elbows. When they pulled the lunch out to eat , to their suprise ants had gotten to it first, and the seaguls flew around them in circles begging to grab the food.
The whole day was horrible nobody had fun, not even the kids who always have fun. Then they had walk 2 miles back to the car, that was not even there. All that was left was a blue ticket laying on the ground which said, Impounded!. They didn't have enough money to get a cab, so tiger decided to call up his private helicopter to get them.
And so that was the life in the day of Tiger and his family while trying to have a family picknick.

Advice for teachers....

Tip 1: Connect with your students.
- Students want a teacher who connects with them, someone they can relate to.
Tip 2: Make a fun learning environment.
- Make the lesson fun and enjoyable, most kids learn better when they are having fun.
Tip 3: Take time to tell something about yourself.
- Students want to something about the person who is teaching them, it could be about anything in your life.
Tip 4: Don't be a mean teacher.
- Mean teachers suck, nobody likes teachers who are mean, kids can't learn in that environment.
Tip 5: Have knowledge about the subject you are teaching.
- If you can't teach the subject how to do you think the students are going to learn anything.

limericks.....

Im writing this card
dang this is hard
because its for you
but one thing is true
I like enjoying you from the yard.

This Valentines day I'll be alone
but I am going to be in a zone
video games are a must
left for dead or bust
killing zombies till my heads blown

Valentines day is lame
but I have no one to blame
I am super shy
when hot girls walk by
only if I could spit my game.

Dillon is a mac daddy
he drives a huge caddy
donked on 25's
and gives awesome high-fives
too bad he's a fatty

I wish you my valentine
that would be so fine,
because your hot
and I am not
but don't listen to me whine.

texting while driving......

Texting while driving is a epidemic that is sweeping the nation. The problem is that texting while driving can inhibit peoples driving ability and could make them crash. I don't text while driving because my car is a manual and that is impossible to text or call people since I am preoccupied with my car. A lot of people text or use there phone while driving and I don't think that they are ever going to completely ban it because somebody is going to point out that it taking away some of their freedom by banning it. It's just like the seat belt law that was enforced in Florida, yeah people started to wear seat belts and others still don't wear a seat belt even though they've been pulled over for it.
People have been killed because of texting while driving, well I think they deserve to be killed just because of the fact that they are stupid enough to text while operating a train. Yes, a train operator crashed a train and killed twenty five people. I think texting while driving is a stupid fad that people are doing these days. I doubt its ever going to go away, but it doesn't really concern me.

My philosophy on life...

"Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway."- Anonymous
This quote explains my take on life. I really don't take life seriously enough, and people get kind of annoyed by that, but it really doesn't bother me. I always try to have the best time and not really having a plan in life. I take that back, I have a overall plan for my life, just the little things, like doing stuff with friends and things of that nature. I think it's better going through life without a plan, if you do have a plan you could miss something along the way. Well thats just my opinion.

Iz are a hypocrite!!!

Everybody, hopefully in their life time has had a life altering experience. It could be good or bad, just something that really affected how they live the rest of their life. I was asked this question and it really made me think back long and hard. What can I single out in my life that has been so life altering that it changed my personality as a young adult. I think one story comes to mind, it’s not really so life altering that my personality changed, but I think it changed me as a person as a whole, not just one thing about me.

It was a normal day, nothing strange; at a doctor’s office, not the greatest place in the world but it could be worse right? So anyways, I was super bored because I really didn’t like going to the doctors’, sure it got me out of school and stuff, but really the doctors’. The smell of sterile alcohol and the arctic temperatures doesn’t really appeal to me. I was learning that my bone size was not of a normal sixteen year old, according to the bone chart, I was in fact fourteen. Well that’s a eye opener, no wonder I was always shorter then everybody in my classes. It all makes sense. But what else good be wrong with my body, besides the size of my bones. Well it turns out that I have a hormone deficiency problem. This means that my body does not produce hormones, which explains why I had so many problems. So my doctor’s told me that I had to inject myself with hormones so that I could grow. First, it was just every three months, just to get my body used to the added hormones. Then it was every month, then every two weeks, now it is every week. Yes, every week I have to give myself a shot of testosterone, it really is annoying if you think about. It really messed with my brain, I actually thought I was going crazy, I had crazy mood swings, because my body wasn’t used to the added amount of testosterone. I felt almost bipolar, it is funny to say that now but, one word would make feel depressed, then happy. But now after a couple years of doing it, I think that my body has finally accepted it. I have finally accepted it, just thinking that I will be doing this for the rest of my life is just so mind blowing to me.

I have something that I am going to write about in the essay, but I am defiantly not going to write about in a blog so that the whole world can read about it. I think that its stupid that we have a write something that it incredibly personal so that the everybody and their mother's can read it.
At least in a essay one person can read it and I don't really care if the person who reads knows about it because I trust them. I know that they are not going to read it out loud in class unless I let them. So there.
